VITEEE exam dates (tentative) for VIT BTech 2026-27 admission are now available. VITEEE 2026 will take place from April 28 to May 3 (tentative). Online registrations are OPEN. Interested candidates can submit their form at viteee.vit.ac.in till March 31.

How to apply for VITEEE exam in 2026?
To apply for Vellore Institute of Technology, BTech admission, candidates can follow process provided below-
- Visit official website of VITEEE- viteee.vit.ac.in
- Click on application form link to register
- Complete registration process and fill rest of details
- Upload documents as per specifications
- Pay VITEEE registration fee and submit
- Keep a copy of the submitted application form for future reference.
Students have to pay a registration fee of INR 1350 through net-banking/credit card/debit card. The VITEEE 2026 application form fee is the same for all categories and is non-refundable.
VITEEE 2026 New Exam Pattern
For the first time, VIT has introduced negative marking in the VITEEE 2026 exam pattern. Now, as per the new marking scheme, 4 marks will be awarded for correct answers and -1 mark for incorrect answers. Candidates will get 2 hours and 30 minutes to solve the VITEEE question paper.
A total of 125 questions (MCQs) will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Aptitude and English.
VITEEE Admission 2026-27 Process
The Vellore Institute of Technology conduct VITEEE exam to offer admission to BTech programmes. Students qualifying in the entrance test will be allotted seats in any of the VIT campuses located in Vellore/Chennai/AP/Bhopal.
Candidates who have registered or are planning to apply for VITEEE 2026 must do their slot booking to download VITEEE e-admit card from the OTBS portal.
