Vivo Ignite 2023: Over 19,000 Entries Nationwide, Grand Finale on February 10, 2024

Vivo Ignite: Vivo has announced that the 'Vivo Ignite: Technology and Innovation Awards 2023' saw over 19,000 registrations and received more than 4,000 creative projects from students of classes 8th to 12th. Under the 'Tech for Good' theme, students from all over the country submitted entries, both individually and in groups, showcasing their innovative solutions aimed at creating a positive social impact.

Vivo believes in nurturing young minds as a foundation for lifelong learning. The Vivo Ignite: Technology and Innovation Awards are a clear demonstration of this commitment, providing an exciting platform for young talents to showcase their potential. The contest, welcomes participants from classes 8-12, consists of two stages followed by a Grand Finale. 

In the second phase, the top 200 zonal winners, selected from the initial pool, are required to submit a video showcasing their prototype or working model, accompanied by a Project Display Board. The Grand Finale is scheduled for February 10, 2024, in New Delhi, with prizes exceeding INR 30 lakhs. 

In collaboration with CIET-NCERT and iHub DivyaSampark, the vivo Ignite Awards 2023 aims to nurture the next generation of problem solvers and innovators. The Top 25 innovative solutions addressing societal challenges will be considered for research/ incubation/start-up. Top 10 National Finalists (individual/group projects) will be shortlisted from the Top 25 ideas for the Grand Finale. 

The National dinalists will present their project prototypes along with the Project Display Board to the Grand Jury at the Grand Finale on February 10, 2024 in New Delhi. All 10 National Finalists and 200 zonal winners will receive certificates and an array of exciting prizes. 

Additionally, the schools that nurtured the top 200 innovative ideas, whether individual or group entries, will be acknowledged for their instrumental role in supporting student participation in the Ignite Awards.
