West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is expected to announce WBJEE 2026 exam date soon. Candidates will be able to check WBJEE 2026 dates online at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. According to previous year trends, official exam date is expected to be released in December 2025. WBJEE 2026 registration link will be available tentatively in third week of January 2026.

WBJEE Registration 2026: 88 percent students prepared for upcoming application
According to an online poll conducted by Shiksha, 88% percent of students are prepared for WBJEE 2026 registration. Since application form is expected anytime soon, students are currently preparing their documents and information to correctly fill application form. However, 6 percent students are still preparing for registration. The remaining 6% students are not applying for WBJEE 2026.
What is the WBJEE eligibility criteria?
Before registration, students should check official WBJEE eligibility criteria. If students are not eligible, then they will not be considered for admission. Since WBJEE 2026 eligibility has not been released yet, candidates can check previous year’s eligibility given below.
- Should be an Indian citizen
- Age limit is 17 years. There is no upper age limit. However, candidates applying for Marine Engineering have to be maximum 25 years of age.
- Candidates should have passed 12th class qualifying exam with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or any other optional subject. Minimum 45 percent (40 percent for reserved categories) should have been scored.
- Should have passed English in 12th class qualifying exam with minimum 30 percent marks.
