WBJEE 2026 Phase 1 Decentralised Counselling Seat Acceptance
All allocated candidates will have to confirm their admission by paying INR 2000 as a seat acceptance fee by September 15. The fee has to be paid online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. In case of multiple allocations, they will have to lock down one choice as per their preference. After seat acceptance fee, they will have to report their allotted institute and pay fee by September 16.

Commonly asked questions
Students with valid JEE Main scores can apply for admissions through WBJEE counselling. However, these students will be eligible for allotment only in 10% approved seats offered by self financing colleges and institutes participating in state level counselling.
Jadavpur University accepts WBJEE scores for admissions into the BTech courses. However, the 12th standard qualifying exam eligibility criteria is minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (45% for reserved category). The students should also have minimum 60% in Mathematics and a pass mark in English.
Students have to check the official WBJEE eligibility criteria to know if they eligible or not for the admission process. All students have to be of Indian nationality and should atleast 17 years old in the admission year. In the 12th standard qualifying exam, the students should have scored minimum 45% (40% for reserved category) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. They should have also individually passed in these subjects. At least 30 marks should have been scored in English.
