NCHMCT JEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for NCHM JEE 2026, candidates must meet the basic education rules.
- You should have passed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent exam.
- English must be one subject in Class 12.
- English can be core, elective, or functional.
- Students appearing in Class 12 in 2026 can also apply.
- Admission for such students will be provisional.
- Proof of passing Class 12 must be given during counselling or admission.
- Final proof submission deadline is 30 September 2026.
- Admission can be cancelled if documents are not valid.
All original certificates will be checked during admission.
Exams Accepted as 10+2 Equivalent for NCHM JEE 2026 Entrance
The following exams are treated as equal to Class 12:
- CBSE, CISCE, and all State Boards
- Intermediate or Pre-University exams
- GCE Advanced Level exams
- Cambridge High School Certificate
- NIOS Senior Secondary exam with at least five subjects including English
- Vocational exams approved by NCVT or SCVT
- Any exam approved by COBSE or AIU
NCHMCT JEE 2026 Age Limit
There is no age limit for NCHMCT JEE 2026. Candidates of any age can apply if other rules are met. The age criteria is set as per the New Education Policy.
NCHMCT JEE 2026 Exam Physical Fitness Requirement
All selected candidates must submit a medical fitness certificate. It should be issued by a registered medical practitioner. This certificate should confirm that the student can do practical work.
Reservation Policy for NCHMCT JEE 2026
Reservation rules apply to Central Government institutes.
- SC: 15% seats
- ST: 7.5% seats
- OBC (NCL): 27% seats
- Gen-EWS: 10% seats
Each category also has 5% reservation for PwD candidates with 40% or more disability. PwD candidates must be able to do kitchen work, bakery work, service work, housekeeping tasks, and basic computer work. One supernumerary seat is also reserved in each Central Institute for Kashmiri Migrants and Kashmiri Pandits.
NCHMCT JEE 2026 Application Fee
Your application for NCHMCT JEE will not be considered until you pay the mandatory application fees.
- General / OBC (NCL): Rs. 1,000
- Gen-EWS: Rs. 700
- SC / ST / PwD: Rs. 450
- Third Gender: Rs. 450
Extra bank charges and GST will apply.
