HRD Minister to talk on new Education model Post-COVID-19 tomorrow

The Union Minister of Human Resource Development (HRD) Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will have online live interaction on 'transforming the COVID-19 threat into a new model of education.' The minister will go live through social media platforms tomorrow i.e. July 9, 2020 at 12 pm. This year due to coronavirus outbreak in the country, the education system has faced massive changes. The schools, college and other educational institutions in the country have been shut in the country since mid-March. The HRD Ministry has also released an alternative academic calendar for schools and guidelines for colleges. Since then, the Education institutes have been conducting the classes online.
The Minister announced about the live interaction from his tweeter handle.“SAVE THE DATE! I will be going live for शिक्षा संवाद on ‘Transforming the #Covid19 threat into a new model of education’. Calendar 9th July Clock face twelve oclock12.00 noon Thank you @ASSOCHAM4India for organizing this informational event! Hope to see you all!,” wrote the HRD minister.
During the lockdown period, the minister has gone live through his social media handle multiple times to make some major announcements. The HRD Minister recently announced new dates for JEE Main and NEET 2020, and revised UGC guidelines. As per the announcement, JEE Main will now be conducted from September 1 to 6 and NEET 2020 will be conducted on September 13, 2020.
As per the revised guidelines by the UGC, the final year or semester students will have to appear for exams by September. The decision came after universities had already cancelled their exams. Students have been protesting against holding of exams due to the coronavirus pandemic.
