 AKTU BTech Exam Updates

AKTU BTech Exam 2026: Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University has cancelled BTech Computer Science sixth semester exam for Computer Networks subject after allegations of question paper leak. AKTU stated that this is a serious breach of exam security and has started a detailed investigation into this matter. AKTU sixth semester BTech exam was conducted on May 21 across multiple centres in Uttar Pradesh.

AKTU BTech Question Paper Leak at Noida Exam Centre

This issue came to light after invigilators at exam centre in Noida reportedly found handwritten slips with answers that matched several questions from official paper. During checking, a student was also allegedly caught carrying mobile phone inside exam hall. They said that device contained images of official BTech question paper even before exam was completed. It must be noted that mobile phones are strictly banned inside exam halls. This raised serious concerns over how paper reached students before exam.

AKTU BTech Papers Allegedly Accessed Before Exam Time

According to university’s preliminary investigation, AKTU BTech question paper may have been accessed digitally around 30 to 40 minutes before exam started. AKTU uses an encrypted digital paper distribution system in which papers can only be opened through authorised institutional login credentials shortly before exam begins.

Officials suspect that login ID and password of one exam centre may have been misused to illegally access and circulate paper. The university also believes some students may have prepared cheating material in advance after receiving leaked questions.

University authorities said initial findings point towards negligence at Noida-based college that was examination centre. According to officials, institution’s credentials were allegedly used without permission to download and distribute the paper before the exam.

Fresh AKTU BTech Exam Date to Be Announced

After confirmation of paper leak allegations, AKTU cancelled Computer Networks exam. Now, fresh exam schedule for that subject will be announced soon. AKTU Examination Controller Prof. Deepak Nagariya said a detailed probe is underway, and strict action will be taken against those found responsible.
