Andhra University Food Science Admission 2026 Begins; Applications Invited for Five-Year Integrated Course

Andhra University has invited applications for admission to its five-year Integrated Food Science and Technology programme. The programme will be offered under the self-support scheme at the College of Science and Technology. Interested candidates can submit their Andhra University application form 2026 before July 15, 2026. 

Designed in line with the National Education Policy (NEP), the integrated programme has a four-year B.Sc. (Honours) degree with a one-year M.Sc. degree. The course also provides many entry and exit options. Admissions will be offered based on merit. The university has advised eligible candidates to complete the Andhra University application process before the deadline and attend the counselling session with all original documents. The programme will focus on careers in food technology, food processing, quality assurance, nutrition, research, and allied industries through a blend of theoretical learning and practical training.

Course Structure Under NEP

The five-year integrated programme follows the National Education Policy (NEP) and offers multiple exit options mentioned below: 

Candidates must have passed Intermediate or an equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, or Biology. 50% aggregate marks must be secured by General category candidates, and 45% aggregate marks must be secured by reserved category candidates.
