Getting admission in Anna University PhD course is not easy, as it requires students to pick a topic, get written consent from a research guide and submit a formal application, followed by clearing an entrance examination. Students revealed that they spent over four months preparing for the entrance test, which was originally scheduled for May 17. The exam was cancelled, and the university has provided no updates regarding a re-examination or admissions process.
