Central University of Andhra Pradesh to Hold First Convocation Today; President Murmu to Attend

The Central University of Andhra Pradesh will conduct its first convocation on July 1, 2026. The convocation ceremony will have President of India Droupadi Murmu as the Chief Guest of the event. The CUAP first convocation preparations highlight the university's journey since its establishment. 

A total of 1,268 students from the graduating batches of 2020 to 2026 will receive their degrees during the ceremony. The graduating students are from 23 states across the country. This highlights the university's diversity in the student community. In addition to awarding degrees, the university will honour outstanding academic performers with gold medals. Several people, including Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer, State Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav, and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh, will attend the event.

Over 1,200 Students to Receive Degrees

A total of 1,268 students from the graduating batches of 2020 to 2026 will receive their degrees.

Vice-Chancellor S.A. Kori mentioned the convocation as an important moment in the university's journey. He addressed to CUAP's commitment to promoting academic excellence, innovation, growth, and quality higher education. The first convocation is expected to contribute in the growth of the Central University of Andhra Pradesh.
