With the CPGET 2026 exam set to begin soon, many candidates are searching for the CPGET dress code, allowed items, and exam day instructions. Although Kakatiya University and the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) have not released any official dress code, candidates are advised to wear comfortable and simple clothing to ensure hassle-free entry into the examination centre.

Male candidates can follow these simple recommendations:

  • Wear a plain shirt or T-shirt without heavy prints.
  • Choose comfortable trousers or simple pants.
  • Wear simple footwear such as sandals or regular shoes.
  • Avoid smartwatches, digital watches, caps, sunglasses, and heavy accessories.
  • Do not wear clothing with unnecessary metallic accessories if possible.

CPGET Dress Code for Female Candidates

Female candidates should also keep their attire simple and comfortable.

  • Wear simple kurtas, tops, T-shirts or other comfortable clothing.
  • Avoid heavy jewellery including necklaces, bangles, bracelets, and large earrings.
  • Choose flat sandals or simple footwear.
  • Avoid carrying fashion accessories that may delay frisking.
