DU UG special spot admission round 2023 registration begins today; Know steps to apply

As per the official schedule by Delhi University, candidates will have time from September 18 until September 20 to apply for special spot admission round. After this, the declaration of special spot allocation will be done on September 21 (10 am), and candidates will have time till September 22 to accept.
DU Admissions 2023: The University of Delhi is all set to commence the DU UG special spot round admission 2023 today for undergraduate courses. Students willing to pursue undergraduate degree in DU colleges and not been allotted seats in the previous rounds will be able to register for DU UG special spot admission round through the CSAS portal, admission.uod.ac.in. The special admission round has been announced for certain shortlisted programmes/ colleges. According to the official schedule, Delhi University will display the vacant seats today, i.e. September 18 (5 pm). To be considered in the special spot admission round, the candidate has to opt for โSpecial Spot Admissionโ through his/her dashboard. Aspirants will be able to choose all programmes in as many colleges as he/she wishes to, subject to the availability of seats.
How to register for DU special spot round
- Go to the official website of the Delhi University CSAS portal, i.e. admission.uod.ac.in.
- Now click on the Register for Undergraduate admission button.
- Enter basic information such as name, email address to generate password.
- Select the special spot round admission from the dashboard.
- Enter courses and colleges in the order of preference.
- Review the application and submit.
Seat allocation criteria
Allocations will be done based on the following criteria:
โ Availability of seats
โ Program- Specific merit
โ Order of preference of college (Program + College)
โ Category

Candidates who had applied for CSAS-2023 and are not admitted to any DU college on the date of declaration of the special spot admission round can participate in this special spot admission round. However, after the announcement of the special spot admission round, the admitted candidates will not be allowed to withdraw their admissions.
