DY Patil University Signs MoU with Texas State University for Joint Degree Programme
DPU academic collaboration with Texas State University will enable students to pursue internship in higher education, design, engineering, entreprenuership and mode. Further, students from both universities will engage in post doctoral fellowship and joint degree programmes.
DY Patil University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Texas State University. With the help of this collaboration, the students will be able to pursue internships in various fields. This arrangement enables DPU students to apply for internships in higher education, entrepreneurship, design, engineering, and technology.
Additionally, the collaboration with Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management Studies would enable students from both universities to take part in post-doctoral fellowships and collaborative degree programs, according to the university.
The academic collaboration between Texas State University, USA and D Y Patil University and D Y Patil Institute of Management Studies is a major decision aiming to get excellence and student exchange. During the event, vice-chancellors of both universities were present. Meanwhile, Dean of the College of Fine Arts and Communication, Dean of McCoy College of Business, Dr Sanjay Ramchandra, Pro Vice-Chancellor Smita Jadhav, Registrar Dr Jitendra Bhawalkar and Vice-Chancellor of D Y Patil Vidyapeeth were present at the event.
Recently, DY Patil University's School of Design joined the UCEED 2025 result-sharing institute. As per the revised list of participating institutes, students having UCEED scores will be able to participate in the DY Patil School of Design for undergraduate design programmes offered by the university.
