Centurion University's 12th convocation included degree distribution to 2,738 students from the 2024 batch across several disciplines available at the university.

Centurion University celebrated its 12th convocation celebrating the excellence in education and skill development. The ceremony included degree distribution to 2,738 students from the 2024 batch and 138 students from previous batches; including 47 doctoral graduates. Prominent personalities such as the Governor of Odisha, Raghubar Das and Justice Sandeep Mehta, Judge of the Supreme Court of India were present as the chief guest while Dr Sreedhar Panicker Somanath, Secretary & Chairman of ISRO and Rajesh Aggarwal, IAS, Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment was the Guest of Honour at the event.  

During the event, the ISRO Chairman inspired the graduates to embrace innovation and leverage cutting-edge technology for societal benefit. He further said "Today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders in shaping India’s technological and social landscape. I urge you to remain steadfast in your pursuit of knowledge and use it to drive inclusive growth." 

Meanwhile, Vice-chancellor Dr Supriya Pattanayak congratulated the students for their hard work and shared her delight for the Centurion University students' achievement saying "Centurion University stands as a beacon of inclusion and excellence, dedicated to building a just and equitable society through education." 

During the event, 1699 students, including 19 gold medalists and 49 merit awardees were present at praised by the audience and special recognition was given to those excelling in academic, research, and co-curricular pursuits. The ceremony was attended by the University's Board of Governors, Academic Council, distinguished faculty, and a wide range of dignitaries, journalists, and visitors.
