Kashmir University has postponed all the examinations scheduled for December 30, 2024, till further date owing to the inclement weather. The authorities shared the official notification on the university website regarding the postponement of the examination. The authorities will announce the revised Kashmir University exam date 2024 on the web portal soon. 

"In view of the inclement weather condition, all examinations of the University of Kashmir scheduled to be held on 30.12.2024 stand postponed. Fresh dates for the postponed papers shall be notified separately." The official notification reads. 

Due to heavy snowfall in the region on Friday and Saturday, several areas of the valley were cut off. While snow has been cleared on the highway and main roads, the work is still on in some of the remote areas of the region.

The Kashmir Valley witnessed the season's immense snowfall on Saturday, impacting flight, rail, and road transportation, as well as power and water delivery. In a video conference meeting with all deputy commissioners, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inspected snow clearance efforts.

Q:   What is the seat intake for BPharm course admission in Kashmir University?
A: 

There are 33 seats in BPharm course of Kashmir University. Out of the total, 8 are self-financed seats. The seats are offered to candidates in BPharm course based on their merit. Candidates must complete Class 12 with PCM or PCB to apply for this course.

Kashmir University is organising an online 12-week NEP orientation and sensitization programme from January 7 to 16, 2025. The event aims to build competencies in the faculty for better learning, research and teaching to gain the skills and knowledge required to excel in their respective areas of study. The registration process is ongoing in online mode at mmc.ugc.ac.in where interested applicants will have to apply for training and submit their forms online.
