PUBDET 2025 Application Form Released
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has opened the applications for PUBDET 2025 on their official website - wbjeeb.nic.in/pubdet/. Students who wish to study BA or BSc in a subject of their choice will be able to apply for this university-level entrance exam from March 28, 2025. How to Apply for PUBDET 2025?
The steps to fill the PUBDET Application Form 2025 are mentioned below.
- Visit the official website - wbjeeb.nic.in/pubdet/
- Click on the PUBDET-2025 Application Form link
- Click on New Registration and register by entering personal and contact details like your name, parents’ names, email ID, phone number, DOB, identification, address, and domicile. A password must also be set during this stage.
- An application number will be generated and shown on the screen. The same will be sent to applicants on their registered mobile numbers via SMS and email.
- Now fill the application form by entering details like choice of course, exam centre choices, academic details, etc.
- Upload scanned images of your passport-sized photograph and signature.
- Pay the application fee using Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI and submit.
- A confirmation page will be generated indicating that your application is now complete.
What After the PUBDET 2025 Application Form?
Once the last date of filling the PUBDET application form has passed, the exam body will open an application correction window. The application correction window will be open from April 30 to May 2, 2025. Following that, the PUBDET admit card will be released on June 6, 2025.
Yes, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board (WBJEEB) conducts PUBDET on behalf of the Presidency University and the application form are available at the official website of WBJEEB. The entrance exam has its own website. PUBDET comprises separate entrance exams that are conducted to offer admission to aspirants in different Science and humanities programmes offered at Presidency University at the undergraduate level. While appearing for PUBDET exam, candidates can apply for a maximum of any two subjects.
Once the registration details i.e., name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, domicile and date of birth are entered and submitted, this information cannot be changed/modified/edited under any circumstances. Also, the information must match exactly with the school/college admit cards, mark sheets, certificates, photo identity cards, caste/category/income certificates etc. (as applicable) which a candidate has to produce at the time of entering the examination hall, during counselling/admission and registration with the University.
