The collaboration between both universities aims to enhance cooperative research in the medical workforce, co-designed certificate programs and short-term executive training, along with joint postgraduate programs in business and healthcare management.

University of Hyderabad

The University of Hyderabad has signed an academic collaboration with Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between both universities aims to strengthen faculty-student interaction, collaborative research, and professional development while strengthening partnerships in healthcare management, digital health, and business education.

According to authorities, the MoU's main focuses are faculty exchange, co-teaching modules, student mobility, co-designed certificate programs and short-term executive training, collaborative research in the health job market, health technology, aged care, activities, leadership, and joint postgraduate programs in business and healthcare management.

Signed in front of South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas MP and other important Australian officials, the memorandum of understanding (MoU) focuses on leadership, operations, aged care, and digital health—areas that are quickly influencing global economies. Further, faculty and student exchange is an important part in order to gain the cross-cultural learning experiences between the universities. 

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Hyderabad, Prof. B.J. Rao, shared his delight about the collaboration and mentioned that this partnership aims to create people who can address practical issues in management and healthcare, not only academic pursuits. He further shared that they are proud to have this collaboration in the presence of the government officials. 

South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas MP also spoke about the collaboration and mentioned that strategic partnerships are required to gain the skilled workforce in order to navigate the complexities of modern healthcare and business environment.
