International yoga day: MDNIY organises Yogotsav countdown programme

Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) under the Ministry of AYUSH has organised Yogotsav countdown programmes at different educational institutes.

International yoga day: MDNIY organises Yogotsav countdown programme

The international yoga day is on June 21 and Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) is conducting various Yogotsav countdown programmes at different educational institutes.

Swami Rama Himalayan University, in collaboration with MDNIY, organized the Yogotsav countdown programme at Toli Ashram, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand on May 8, 2022.

The dignitaries Dr Kavita Bhatt, Yoga specialist Shail Putri foundation Garhwal, Dr Subodh Saurav Singh, Associate Professor School of Yoga Shoolni University Solan, Dr Arun Panthri, Principle Gauri Himalayan school of science and technology Pauri Garhwal and Dr Ishwar V Basavaraddi, Director MDNIY joined the event through virtual mode.

National Security Guard conducts yoga workshop

The National Security Guard conducted the Yoga Lecture cum workshop on Therapeutic uses of Yoga under the aegis of 'Yoga Amrit Mahotsav' at 12 SRG NSG Manesar to raise awareness about the rewards of Yoga. NSG personnel and their family members, civilians and school children of nearby areas actively participated in this program.

Satyendra Kumar Singh, Yoga Expert and Tanmay Gaur, MSc Student from MDNIY provided technical support and demonstrated the 45 minutes of Common Yoga Protocol.

Sree Ramakrishna College of Naturopathy and Yogic science organised such a yoga programme on May 7, 2022, at Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu.

A yoga Session based on Common Yoga Protocol was conducted simultaneously at Rockcut Jain temple, Chitaral; Thriparappu waterfalls, and Vattakottai fort. The event was observed on the theme “Yoga and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”
