BIT Mesra Launches BIT-SIPAR 2026 Summer Research Internship Program

The Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra has launched the BIT-SIPAR 2026 which is their Summer Internship Program for Advanced Research. The registrations for the same are currently ongoing.

This opportunity is for undergraduate and postgraduate students who can utilize this unique platform to engage in cutting-edge research, collaborative industry projects, and technological innovations. 

The BIT-SIPAR 2026 program bridges the gap between academic theory and real-world industrial demands. The internship will run from first week of June 2026 through fourth week of July 2026 and will provide candidates hands-on research mentorship under expert faculty. With zero registration or participation fees.

Who can apply for BIT Mesra Summer Research Internship Program?

The summer research internship program is open to current UG/PG students from recognized Indian or international institutions, as well as recent graduates (within six months of degree completion) with a minimum of 60% aggregate or a CGPA of 6.32/10 across all academic levels. BIT Mesra students also also eligible to apply, with selections subject to seat availability.

Logistics and Accommodation

• This is a non-stipendiary research program.

• Optional hostel accommodation is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

• INR 5,500 per month (exclusive of food charges).
