Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra is nearing preparations to host the 6th Research Colloquium (RESCOL–VI) from 14th to 15th July 2026. This two-day academic event will serve as a premier innovation and exchange platform for doctoral candidates. It will bring PhD students from BIT Mesra main campus, its various extension centres, and selected external premier institutes.

What is RESCOL?

The RESCOL is a Platform for Academic Innovation and it provides young researchers with a high-profile forum. During this event, students will display their latest scientific and technological innovations. While also being engaged in peer-to-peer academic exchange and receiving feedback from senior faculty members and industry experts.

The event will feature five distinct thematic specialization groups covering a wide array of academic disciplines:

During this event scholars will present research work in oral or poster presentation formats. To encourage high-quality research and academic excellence, organizing officials confirmed that separate awards will be presented for best oral and poster presentations within each of five specialization groups.
