MAH MCA CET 2025: CAP Begins on Aug 1, Check Dates and Other Details
MH CET has released the counselling schedule for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2025-2026 for MCA admissions. Candidates can check all essential details such as the counselling schedule, steps to follow after CAP, and more.
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra (MH CET Cell) has released the official notification for MCA admissions through CAP 2025. The MAH MCA CET 2025 Counselling process, also known as the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), will start from tomorrow, August 1, 2025.

MAH MCA CET (CAP) 2025: Steps to Follow After CAP Round I Seat Allotment
Candidates are advised to follow the steps below after CAP Round I seat allotment has been done -
Step 1: Verify Your Allotment (Mandatory for All)
- Log in to your account.
- Accept the declaration confirming your details (marks, category, reservation, gender, etc.) are correct.
- Confirm that you have uploaded all required and valid documents.
Step 2: Report Grievance (If Any Mistakes Found)
- If you notice any mistakes in your application (like the wrong category or marks), report it through your login.
- Submit your grievance online between 2 and 4 August 2025 (up to 3:00 PM).
Step 3: If Allotted First Preference Seat (Auto-Freeze)
- You must pay the seat acceptance fee online.
- You cannot participate in further rounds.
Step 4: If Allotted Other Than First Preference & You Want to Keep It (Self-Freeze)
- Choose the "Freeze" option in your login.
- Pay the seat acceptance fee online.
- You will not be allowed to take part in the next rounds.
Step 5: If Allotted Other Than First Preference & You Want a Better Option
- Choose the "Not Freeze/Betterment" option.
- Accept the current seat and pay the seat acceptance fee online.
- You can participate in the next rounds for a better seat.
