Will it extend further?

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will close the MAH MCA CET 2026 registration form tomorrow, February 10, 2026. Students who haven’t applied for the exam can visit the official website MAH MCA CET 2026 registration link - cetcell.mahacet.org. However, based on past year information we expect that the exam body might extend the last date and eligible aspirants might get 7-10 of extra duration to apply.

To apply for the MAH MCA CET, students must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories in Maharashtra). Applicants must also have studied Mathematics or Statistics at the 10+2 level or during graduation. Final-year students awaiting their result are also eligible to apply for the exam.

Students who successfully submit the application form, will be issued the admit card to appear in the exam. The MAH MCA CET is an annual entrance exam which is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission into the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs across Maharashtra. Pre-requisites for MAH MCA CET 2026 

While filling the online application form, candidates must arrange the following documents: verification of aadhaar and APAAR ID via DigiLocker is strictly required for 2026 registrations. The MAH MCA CET 2026 registration fee is INR 1,000 for General category candidates. For SC, ST, OBC, VJ/DT-NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), SBC, EWS, and PwD candidates from Maharashtra the application fee is INR 800.

Steps to apply for MAH MCA CET 2026:

1. Visit the official website of MAH MCA CET 2026.
2. On the homepage, click on "New Registration" and fill in basic details to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
3. Complete authentication of Aadhaar/APAAR ID.
4. Fill out the application form in detail by adding the academic and personal information.
5. Upload scanned passport-size photograph and signature as per specified dimensions.
6. Pay registration fee
7. Download and print confirmation page for future reference.
