Maharashtra CET Cell Announces Transfer Process for Working Professionals in Low-Enrolment MCA Courses

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has issued guidelines for the transfer of working professionals provisionally admitted to MCA courses where enrolment numbers remain very low.
As per the admission policy for AY2025โ26, if admissions in any course are less than 1/3rd of the approved student intake after the pre-cut-off date, those students will be transferred to nearby institutes (within a 50 km radius of their workplace/organisation), on a merit basis. The transfer can be made into the same course or, if necessary, into another course at the nearby institute, depending on availability.
