NIELIT 2026 January O/A/B/C Examination Schedule Declared: Application Starts Nov 3
The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) has invited applications from registered candidates for the January 2026 session of its O, A, B, and C Level (IT) examinations.
NIELIT has announced the date schedule for January 2026 session of its O, A, B, and C Level (IT) examinations. Online Examination Application Forms (OEAF) will be available between November 3 - 15, 2025.

How to Apply for NIELIT O’, ‘A’, ‘B’, and ‘C’ Level Exams
Candidates can fill and submit the Online Examination Application Form (OEAF) on the official website: student.nielit.gov.in.
Applications must be submitted online only, along with the requisite fee through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT).
A form processing fee of ₹100 will be charged in addition to the theory and practical exam fees.
Applicants may also use Common Service Centres (CSCs) for form submission and fee payment. CSC locations are available at csc.gov.in.

Examination Details
- The O and A Level exams (A1-R5 to A4-R5) will be conducted in online mode.
- Candidates must carefully choose their examination centre, as no changes will be allowed later.
- Institutes authorised by NIELIT must verify candidate details and submit examination fees through onlineaccr.nielit.gov.in.
NIELIT has also reminded candidates that the examination pattern has been revised from the July 2022 cycle. Candidates and institutes are strongly advised not to wait until the last date for submission to avoid technical or payment issues.

While registering for NIELIT exam, the candidates will be required to pay the application fee. As per the official notification, the NIELIT application fee for O level is INR 500. All of the candidates will have to pay the NIELIT application fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card or through the CSC-SPV services. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
The NIELIT Online Examination Application Forms (OEAF) fee is INR 100 in addition to the requisite fees for the applied Theory/Practical modules. The required fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card or through CSCs. If the fee is not paid before the final date, then the candidates will not be allowed to attempt the examination.
