NIELIT Further Extends Registration Deadline for January 2026 Exam Cycle Until Oct 20

The NIELIT has now extended the last date for fee payment and registration for the January 2026 Exam Cycle of O/A/B/C and CHM-T "O" Level courses due to ongoing website maintenance. Both Direct candidates and Institute candidates can register until October 20, 2025.

The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) has further extended the registration and fee payment deadline for the January 2026 Exam Cycle of O/A/B/C and CHM-T “O” Level courses. In a public notice, NIELIT cited the reason for the deadline extension to be the maintenance of the student portal. Candidates can now register for the O/A/B/C and CHM-T “O” Level courses until October 20, 2025.

Below are the steps to register yourself for the NIELIT O/A/B/C and CHM-T “O” Level courses:

• Vist student.nielit.gov.in/index.aspx
• Register yourself if you are a new user. Below are the requirements: 
• Current course (O, A, B, or C Level, or CHM-T "O" Level) in which you are registered
• Registration Number of the selected course
• Name of Candidate at the time of registration
• Date of Birth of the candidate, in the format dd-Mon-yyyy
• Captcha Code
• If you are an existing user, use your credentials to log in.
• Upload the required documents and certificates, as prompted.
• Review your inputs before you submit the application form and pay the registration and exam fees.

Note: Applicants are advised to complete the process before the last date to avoid any last-minute hassles or technical glitches.
