NIMCET 2024 Notification
NIMCET 2024: The conducting authority is expected to release the NIMCET 2024 notification soon on the official website at nimcet.in. Candidates can take admission to the MCA course for the participating NITs through the NIMCET exam. The NIMCET exam is conducted by any of the nine NITs on a rotational basis every year. The NIMCET 2024 exam is expected to be conducted in June 2024. Candidates can check below the NIMCET 2024 application process, fees, and eligibility criteria.
NIMCET 2024: What Is The Eligibility Criteria?
Candidates can check below for the NIMCET 2024 eligibility criteria.
- A candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- He or she must have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST) in (i) BSc / BSc (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject as one of the subjects from a recognized University.
- SC/ST candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale in (i) BSc/BSc (Hons)/BCA/BIT of minimum 3 years full-time with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject as one of the subjects from a recognized University.
- Candidates with BE/B Tech or equivalent from a recognized University can appear for the exam.
- Candidates who will be appearing for the qualifying examination can also apply for NIMCET 2024
- Candidates who have completed or completed a degree in three years BSc / BSc(Hons)/BCA/ BIT from Open Universities can also apply provided their programme is approved by UGC / AICTE and Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India.

NIMCET 2024: Application Process
Candidates can scroll down for the process of filling the NIMCET 2024 application form.
- Open the official website of NIMCET; nimcet.in
- Click on the "NIMCET 2024 Registration" link
- Fill in the required details to complete the registration process
- After registration, fill the application form with the required information
- Upload scanned image of photo and signature
- Pay application fees online using a credit/debit card or internet banking
After the successful completion of the payment, the NIMCET2024 application form will be submitted automatically. A PDF of the form will be generated after final submission. Candidates can download the PDF and take its printout for future reference.
NIMCET 2024: Application Fees
The NIMCET application fees and counselling for admission to the MCA last year were INR 2500 for OPEN/OPEN-EWS/OBC category candidates and INR 1,250/- for SC/ST/PwD category candidates. The fees are non-refundable. Candidates need to deposit an appropriate amount relevant to their category. Also, candidates will be able to deposit the processing fee online via the NIMCET 2024 website only.
