Students of Rukmini Devi College of Fine Arts on campus are staging a protest against the same.  As per a circular, Rukmini Devi College of Fine Arts is announced to remain shut till April 6 and students are asked to vacate the hostel. Along with the closure of the college, the exams have also been postponed and the new dates will be released soon.

Along with the closure of the college, the exams have also been postponed and the new dates will be released soon. As the college is shut till April 6, the administration has asked the inmates to vacate the hostel within two days.

Kalakshetra College closed until April 6 amid students' protest over sexual harassment, exams postponed

Kalakshetra college has announced that it will remain closed until April 6, 2023, amid the ongoing protest by students of against alleged sexual harassment and misconduct by a senior faculty. Students of Rukmini Devi College of Fine Arts on campus are staging a protest against the same.  As per a circular, Rukmini Devi College of Fine Arts is announced to remain shut till April 6 and students are asked to vacate the hostel.

Along with the closure of the college, the exams have also been postponed and the new dates will be released soon. As the college is shut till April 6, the administration has asked the inmates to vacate the hostel within two days.

The protesting students are demanding the dismissal of four staff members. More than 250 students started the protest and also boycotted the day's examination. 

Meanwhile, in a statement, Kalakshetra Chairman and the Governing Board said that all necessary steps will be taken to ensure proper action against any person involved.
A statement issued to the press stated, "There have been some allegations which we are considering. Some of the students of the Foundation have been protesting in our campus. The Director and the Deputy Director from the administration have spoken to the students taking into consideration the sentiments and grievances of the students," as reported by TimesNow.
