Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan to collect first quarter fees from May 21
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has announced that it will collect fees for the first quarter for session 2020-21 online from May 22 onwards.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has announced that it will collect fees for the first quarter for session 2020-21 online from May 22 onwards. Parents can pay fees on or before June 21, 2020, without any later payment fees.
The entire Fee of all KVs is being collected by Union Bank of India. Parents can pay fee online as well as offline. Any Credit Card / Debit Card can be used for KVs online Fee payment. Internet Banking can also be used for online payment of Fees. Parents living in green and orange zone can also visit any branch of Union Bank of India across the country for the payment of Fee.
The Union Bank of India fee portal will get activated from today for the promotion of the students to the next grade and for the verification process, the official notification stated.
Except for class 10 and 12, the verification process shall be completed by May 18, 2020, for the second quarter, the notice further stated.
The data of the first quarter cannot be verified at the moment and so Kendriya Vidyalaya would use data of the second quarter for the fee collection in the first quarter.
Moreover, the fee collection for the second quarter will be as per the existing KVS schedule. The fees for the first quarter will be collected from April to June. In general, fees are deposited from April 1 to April 15 each year, but this year it was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country followed by the extended lockdown. The fees are deposited online through the bank. There are around 1200 Kendriya Vidyalayas present in the country, in which about 12 lakh children study.
KVS has directed that the official letter should be circulated to all Principals of Kendriya Vidyalayas and other state holders.
