AP LAWCET 2026 Counselling Process to Start Shortly, Official Notice Awaited

AP LAWCET 2026 Counselling: Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education is expected to release AP LAWCET counselling notification 2026 soon for admissions to 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB and LLM programmes. Candidates who qualified in entrance exams will be eligible to participate in web-based AP LAWCET counselling process. They will have to visit official website cets.apsche.ap.gov.in to complete AP LAWCET counselling registration.
According to AP LAWCET counselling trends from previous years, registration process is likely to begin in July or August 2026. As of now, APSCHE has not yet confirmed the official schedule. Earlier, AP LAWCET 2026 results were announced on May 18. Around 23,996 candidates appeared for examination, and over 19,000 qualified.

Candidates need to have passed the 10+2 examination to be eligible to participate in the counselling process of Andhra Pradesh LAWCET. General category candidates securing 42 marks will be eligible to register for the counselling. Refer to the following table to understand the eligibility:

AP LAWCET seat allotment letter is an official document that ensures a particular seat in a specific course has been allotted to a particular candidate. For example, if a candidate applies to All Saints Christian Law College and secures the marks required for admission to the institution (cutoff marks accepted by the institution), he or she will get a seat allotment letter. The result that will be considered for the seat allotment letter for the institution will be based on the marks secured by him or her in Andhra Pradesh LAWCET. A seat allotment letter is provided to candidates once they pay the admission fee. After receiving the seat, they will have to complete all the formalities or documentation processes to reserve the seat.
The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will start the AP LAWCET 2026 counselling Phase 1 tentatively in September at lawcet-sche.aptonline.in. All candidates who will appear in the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2026 to get admission to a 3-year or 5-year LLB course will have to visit the mentioned website and fill out the AP LAWCET 2026 counselling registration form by the ascertained deadline.

General category candidates who secured 45% marks in the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2026 will have to appear in the counselling process to confirm their admission. SC and ST category candidates do not need specific qualifying marks to attend Andhra Pradesh LAWCET counselling 2026.
AP LAWCET 2026 counselling is expected to be conducted completely online. Qualified candidates will have to complete registration, pay counselling fee, upload documents and participate in web option entry for college selection. Seats will be allotted based on AP LAWCET rank, reservation criteria and choices filled by candidates. After AP LAWCET 2026 seat allotment result is announced, shortlisted candidates must report to their allotted colleges to confirm admission.
