CLAT 2027 Application: Common Law Admission Test 2027 registrations started on August 3. The Consortium of National Law Universities is the Convenor body for the CLAT exam. The Consortium publishes all the information related to the CLAT. 

The Consortium will soon release the CLAT 2027 Application Correction dates on its official exam portal - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Only certain details in the CLAT applications will be allowed to be edited.

Last Date to Apply for CLAT 2027

Candidates should note that the CLAT 2027 applications were started on August 3. The Consortium released the CLAT 2027 application dates on July 22 on its official portal. The applications are open for more than two months and the last date to apply for the CLAT exam is October 31. Moreover, the candidates will get extra days to make corrections in their CLAT application form 2027.

How to Apply for CLAT 2027?

CLAT registration is the first stage which is required to generate the CLAT account credentials. Candidates can see the CLAT Application Process below:

Stage 1: CLAT 2027 Registration

Candidates need to register with their mobile number and email ID. The Mobile number and email ID will be verified with the OTP. After verification, the CLAT account credentials will be generated.

Stage 2: CLAT 2027 Application Form

After registration, the candidates will be required to fill the following in their CLAT application form:

Personal Details

  • Name
  • Fathers Name
  • Mothers Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Category

And other required details.

Academic Details

  • Class 
  • Name of Board
  • Marks Scored out of total score
  • Percentage

The above are the basic details required in all the exam application forms.

Stage 3: CLAT Form Fee

Candidates will be required to pay the CLAT form fee after filling the CLAT application form. No form will be accepted without the CLAT exam fee. The Consortium has defined different CLAT exam fee for different categories in the following way:

Candidates must pay the appropriate fee as prescribed for their category; otherwise, their CLAT application will be rejected.

Documents Required for CLAT 2027 Registration and Application

Candidates are required to submit the following documents with the CLAT application form.

  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
  • LLB/ equivalent mark sheets and certificates (for LLM courses only)
  • ID and address proof (Aadhaar Card/Driving License/PAN Card, etc.)
  • Category certificate if applying under SC/ST/OBC category
  • Relevant certificate issued by a competent authority if applying as PwD or BPL candidate

Candidates are advised to fill the CLAT application form as soon as possible and do not wait for the last date because there can be technical glitches.
