CLAT 2027 Latest Update: The Consortium of National Law Universities has announced an important update for the upcoming Common Law Admission Test for undergraduate and postgraduate law admissions. The decisions following the Annual Meeting of the Governing Body on July 18, 2026. The authorities have announced that the CLAT 2027 exam pattern and CLAT syllabus 2027 will remain unchanged.
However, the CLAT 2027 will focus on quality. The newly appointed Convenor for CLAT 2027 will consider the official Expert Committee Report. All paper setters will adopt expert suggestions regarding the CLAT 2027 question paper format.
CLAT 2027 Big Update: No Exam Pattern Changes for CLAT 2027
CNLU shared news for law aspirants aiming for the CLAT 2027 exam. There will be no changes in the official syllabus for CLAT 2027. This rule is for both the Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) entrance exams. Furthermore, the overall exam pattern and sections will remain the same as previous years.

In CLAT Exam there will be 120 questions. The exam paper will be in MCQ format. Candidates will get 120 minutes to complete the paper. Since there is a negative marking candidates must attempt carefully.
Solving mock test helps candidates to understand the exam pattern and also the sections they are lagging behind. With this they can rework on those section where they are scoring low. CLAT mock test also helps candidates to understand the time based prepration to solve the question paper on exam day.
