MH LAW CET CAP 2026: More Law Colleges Added with Bar Council of India Approval
The main reason for MH CET Law 2026 is the addition of new law colleges. Several law schools were waiting for their official clearance. They are currently receiving the necessary Bar Council of India approval and university affiliations. As these approvals come through, the authorities are adding these colleges to the counselling process. This gives candidates a wider range of approved institutions to choose from during the counselling process.
Last Date to Submit CET Cell Law Option Form
The revised date for locking entry closes on August 11, 2026. All eligible students should log into the official portal and make the necessary changes. Review the updated list of institutions before submitting their final preferences. Keep tracking the official portal for further updates on the merit list and seat allotment dates.
New Rules for Maharashtra Law Admissions 2026
The following are the updated rules for admission in Maharashtra law colleges:
- Option Forms Reopened for Round 1: Because new colleges are being added to the system, the authorities have reopened all submitted option forms.
- Auto Freeze Rules Discontinued: In past years, if a student got their first-choice college, the seat was locked automatically. This "Auto Freeze" rule is cancelled for Round 1 and Round 2 of the 2026–27 academic year.
