NLU Delhi in association with NLUD’s Pro-Bono Club will offer an online 'Advanced Course on skills in Practicing Law' from February 6 to February 10, 2023.

NLUD to offer Advanced Course on skills in Practicing Law 

National Law University Delhi in collaboration with NLUD’s Pro-Bono Club is offering an 'Advanced Course on skills in Practicing Law' from February 6 to February 10, 2023. Interested law students can apply before February 1, 2023.

The course is designed to offer an advanced inquiry into law practice skills, on themes which are scarcely included in regular curriculum and teaching-learning process. The course offers a practical understanding of the following tentative aspects - Client Interviewing, Legal Problem Solving, Legal Research, Legal Writing, and Persuasive Presentation. The course will be conducted online only.

"The course will equip participants with a practical understanding of the above-stated skills for practising law and enable them to enrich their advocacy skills," reads the official notification. Students studying law from any law school can apply for this course.

The online course is of 5 days, with a total of 5 sessions, approximately 2 hours each day from 3 to 5 pm. As per the thematic agenda, sessions will be held as lectures, group exercises and activities, as well as discussions. Participants will be given ample opportunity to engage and interact with course instructors and their fellow participants, to enable an environment of collaborative learning. The course fee is INR 5,000. All participants will be awarded a certificate upon successful completion of the course. 

The application process is online, no physical applications sent by post will be accepted. Due to the limited number of seats, the admissions will be on a first-come-first-serve basis, interested participants are requested to register at the earliest.
