Maharashtra State Board HSC Results 2018: Know The Toppers
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has finally announced the results for 2018 exam today.

Gawade Amol Dilip has secured the top position in the Maharashtra HSC exam 2018 by scoring 642 out of 650 marks. The second position has been bagged by Amit Kisan who scored 639 out of 650. The third rank is shared by Chavan Dhanashri Eknath, Sahu Ritika Ramnaresh, Aditya Surendrakumar. They scored 637 out of 650 each, as per reports.

Maharashtra State Board HSC results 2018 highlights:
- The overall pass percentage of Maharashtra Board has dipped this year by 1.09 per cent. Only 88.41 per cent students passed their class 12 exams held this year
- Girl students have once again outshone boys with total pass percentage of 92.36 as compared to the total pass percentage of boy students which has been recorded as 85.23 per cent
- Of 210 subjects which students wrote HSC exams for, 56 subjects have registered 100 per cent results in the 2018 exam
- Total pass percentage of Arts stream this year is 78.93; about 2.98 per cent less compared to last year
- Total pass percentage of Science stream this year is 95.85
- In Commerce stream, the total pass percentage recorded is 89.50
- MCVC stream recorded 82.18 pass percentage in this year’s examination
- District wise, Konkan topped the list with 94.85 pass percentage
- Nasik has scores the least with only 86.13 pass percentage
- About 5,379 physically challenged students appeared for Maharashtra State HSC exam 2018 out of which, 5,374 were declared passed with a whopping 91.78 pass percentage
- The number of students scorign above 90 percent in the state this year is 5486
- In Mumbai, around 2,288 students scored above 90+ marks, the highest among nine divisions in Maharashtra
A total of 14,16,986 students appeared for the exams held from February 21 to March 20, 2018 of which 12,52,817 students have been declared passed.
