JMI Admission 2026

Jamia Millia Islamia will start the JMI interview round 2026 for mass communication courses at The Office of the Director, A.J.K Mass Communication Research Centre. Selected candidates will have to reach the centre on the mentioned date and time according to their serial number. Candidates who will pass the interview round will be able to participate in the further admission process of the university. JMI entrance exam 2026 were conducted between April 26 and June 05, 2026, in offline mode. Jamia released the result for all offered courses on different dates at admission.jmi.ac.in

As per official notice by Jamia Millia Islamia, the instructions for students appearing for the interview round for M.A. (Mass Communication) are as follows:

• Selected candidates must have mailed a Digital Portfolio in a zipped folder not more than 2 GB to academics.mcrc@jmi.ac.in at least four days before the interview.
• Creative work: If you are interested in photography, send us six of the best photographs that you have taken. If you have made or participated in the making of films, send the link to one that you consider being the best. The credits must carry your name for authentication.
• Published work: Written work published in a reputed media publication. The name of the publication/organization should be mentioned or one sample of academic writing produced under supervision in an institution where you have been enrolled. Your except should not exceed 1000 words.
• Certificate/s: of Internships/Workshops/Webinars/Conferences/Seminars.
• Certificate/s: of Extracurricular activities/ Special achievements/ Experience of working with social/cultural organizations at college /University Level.
• In case of large audio-visual files, provide an openable weblink.
• Carrying a hard copy of the portfolio to the interview is optional.
