The exam will be conducted in various ATMA test cities across the country. The ATMA exam will have a sectional time limit, and candidates must solve 180 multiple-choice questions within the allotted time.

ATMA 2025 Last Minute Preparation Tips

Check below the last-minute prep tips for the ATMA exam 2025:

  • ATMA exam is a time-based exam; hence, a calm mind will help the students tackle the questions easily, and they will avoid making silly mistakes. It is important not to panic and try to keep a relaxed and calm mind, which will fetch them a good score.
  • Keep all the necessary documents in a folder the night before. Candidates should not forget to carry the documents required on the exam day. They must not forget to carry the printouts and original documents.
  • Do not start a new topic on the day before the exam. This will only add to the panic and may demotivate the students. This can also result in faltering on the exam day.
  • Reach the exam centre by 1 PM. Students must ensure that they reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam commences. They should leave their houses on time, keeping in mind the traffic and possible delays.
  • ATMA has sectional timing and negative marking. Hence, it is advised that if the candidate is stuck on one question, they should not worry and move on to solving the next question. They should not waste too much time.

Documents Required on the ATMA Exam Day

Candidates should carry the necessary documents to the ATMA exam centre. These are:

  • 2 coloured copies of the ATMA admit card with a photograph affixed to them
  • 2 copies of the ATMA application form
  • Photo ID proof issued by the Government of India (original and photocopy)
  • Self-declaration form

ATMA Exam Day Guidelines

Follow the below-mentioned ATMA exam day guidelines to have a hassle-free exam day:

  • Check the document file before leaving the house. Candidates should check if they have kept all the required documents.
  • The photograph should be affixed properly to the ATMA admit card
  • Reach the exam centre by the reporting time.
  • Carry a ballpoint pen (black or blue) and avoid taking other stationery items. Do not carry electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, tablets, calculators, etc.
  • Follow the instructions given by the exam invigilator.
  • Read the instructions manual carefully before starting the exam.
  • Do not indulge in any kind of unfair means.
  • Keep in mind the sectional time limit and negative marking in the ATMA exam. If you are doubtful about any question, skip it. You can revisit it again.
Q:   Can I carry a watch to the exam centre? Which documents should I carry to the ATMA exam centre?
A:
No, candidates must not carry any electronic gadgets including watches, mobile phones, calculators, etc. Candidates should only carry recent passport size photograph, photo ID (original and photocopy), self declaration form and ATMA admit card along with them to the exam centre. The candidates can carry an Aadhar card, Voter ID, or passport, driving license, ration card, college ID. They must not carry any stationary item other than a blue/black ballpoint pen. Ever since the COVID-19 outbreak, ATMA candidates are required to carry drinking water, hand sanitizer and face mask along with them. Candidates have to carry drinking water in a transparent bottle only. No other item will be allowed inside the ATMA exam venue. Candidates must not carry bags or valuables as there will be no arrangement for depositing while candidates appear for the exam. Candidates must also not carry notebooks or rough paper to the ATMA exam centre. Any candidate found with an unauthorised item will be disqualified.
Q:   Will the ATMA exam be conducted in double shifts?
A:

No, the ATMA exam is usually conducted in a single shift. However, in 2020, the ATMA exam was conducted in the remote-proctored mode in order to follow the social distancing guidelines for COVID-19, but the exam was still conducted in a single shift. ATMA exam pattern has not changed much over the years. ATMA 2025 exam will also be conducted in single shift for three hours, I. e. from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The shift timings for both the courses, MBA and MCA will be the same.

Q:   How can I choose my preferred ATMA exam city?
A:
There are over a 100 ATMA test centres across the country. These cities consist of metropolitan cities, capital cities, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Candidate can select up to three cities for allotment of test centre. The process of test city selection is a part of ATMA application process. In the ATMA application form, there is a field in which candidates have to select the cities. They need to select the city of preference in order of 1 to 3. The examination authorities will try to allot the test centre in the city of first preference. Thus, candidates must fill all the three cities carefully. They must choose their home city or city of current residence as the first preference. Once the application form has been submitted, the request for change of the city will not be accepted by the exam authorities.
