Commonly asked questions
Q: Β  Which college will I get with 97.5 percentile in MH CET?
A:

With 97.5 percentile in MHT-CET, you have a strong chance to get admission in reputed colleges like PICT Pune, VIT Pune, SPIT Mumbai, or Thakur College of Engineering for branches such as IT, ECE, or Electrical. COEP and VJTI may be difficult for CSE. Government colleges like WCE Sangli, SGGS Nanded, and GCOE Amravati are also good options. You can get preferred branches in private colleges and core branches in government ones. Your chances further improve if you belong to a reserved category or have home university advantage within Maharashtra.

Q: Β  What is the minimum cutoff required for admission to M.Tech at COEP?
A:

For the General HS category, the cutoff ranged from 4.33 to 20.54 percentile for M.Tech course specialisations. Therefore, students need to attain at least 4.33 percentile for admissions at COEP Pune. MHT CET M.Tech percentiles are required for admission to M.Tech courses at COEP, Pune.

Q: Β  Can I take admission in D.K.T.E. Society's Textile and Engineering Institute for B.Tech. in Fashion Technology with 63.57% in MHT CET?
A:

With 63.57% in MHT CET, you do have a fair chance to get B.Tech in Fashion Technology at D.K.T.E. Institute, especially if you're in a reserved category or from the home state. Fill it in your CAP options and keep backup colleges too, just in case the cutoffs go higher this year

At Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai, IT remained one of the most competitive programmes. Its LOPEN cutoff was 99.9650129 percentile, while the GSEBCS cutoff was 99.6943298 percentile. E&TC recorded 99.6772609 percentile for LOPEN and Electronics Engineering closed at 99.7292419 percentile for GOPENS. Mechanical Engineering also had a very high GOPENS cutoff of 99.5524970 percentile.
