CAT 2014: Month-wise preparation guide for new pattern

According to the notice, “The scaling process will be announced on CAT 2014 website prior to CAT 2014 examination (16^th and 22^nd November, 2014).” Also, CAT 2014 registration guide, and CAT 2014 Test Day Guide links have not yet been activated.

CAT 2014: Admission process & shortlisting criteria of IIMs

Certificate for final year students, SC/ST students, NC-OBC students and PwD students are available on the website for downloads. Candidate Identification Affidavit, mandatory for all CAT 2014 aspirants, is also available at website.

The registration link will be enabled on August 6, 2014, at 10:00 AM.

To avoid the issue of hanging up of website due to large traffic, the notification informs "The candidates need not rush in the initial registration days for blocking their slots and sites. Candidates will be given their first preferred city across the four sessions on random basis as far as possible. Candidates will have no option to prefer the dates as it will be allotted by the CAT Centre randomly.”

The notice further informed, “A CAT practice exam will be available on the website www.iimcat.ac.in for candidates to get familiarized with the functionality and navigation of the actual exam. This link will be made available in mid-October 2014.”
