CMAT or the Common Management Admission Test is a national level entrance examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year for admissions to various B-Schools across India.
Till 2015, CMAT was held twice in a year but the practice has now been abolished as the AICTE decided to hold the exam once a year. In the upcoming year, CMAT will be held in January, registrations for which will start from October 10, 2016.
CMAT 2017 will be held on January 28, 2017 in single session. January 29 will be 'reserve day', which means exam will be held on January 29 only in case of any emergency. The computer-based exam will be held in a single-session of three hours.
Earlier, it was announced that CMAT 2017 will be held over two days on January 28 and 29, 2017, but the arrangement has been now reworked.
