K J Somaiya Institute of Management Ranked 51st in Asia in QS Asia MBA Rankings 2027

KJ Somaiya is ranked 51st in Asia in the QS Asia MBA Rankings 2027, alongside its placement in the 301+ category in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2027. This reflects KJSIM’s presence in QS’s latest assessment of business schools globally as well as across the Asian region.

KJ Somaiya Institute of Management (KJSIM) has been ranked 51st in Asia in QS Asia MBA Rankings 2027, placing the institute among the top business schools assessed in the latest regional ranking. Also, in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2027, KJSIM has been placed in the 301+ category.  In the previous edition, the institute was ranked 52nd in Asia. QS MBA rankings assess business schools across various parameters such as ROI, entrepreneurship, alumni outcomes, diversity and the value associated with the MBA course.

Dr Raman Ramachandran, Director & Dean, K J Somaiya Institute of Management, said that this ranking was received because of the collective efforts of the faculty, students and alumni. KJSIM will remain committed to bringing strong academic foundations with experimental learning. 

Dr Raman also emphasised that the 2024-26 batch recorded an overall placement rate of 97%, with 586 students out of 603 receiving offers. The batch recorded a peak domestic salary of ₹29.30 lakh per annum, while the average salary for the top 10% of students stood at ₹19.94 lakh, followed by ₹17.85 lakh for the top 20% and ₹16.86 lakh for the top 30%.
