Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has revised PGCET MBA/MCA exam dates. Karnataka PGCET MBA exam, which was earlier scheduled to be held on May 24, will now be conducted on June 14. KEA notified the change in Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam date on its official X handle.

KEA has revised the Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam date to June 14. No change has been encountered in the MTech exam date. KEA will soon release PGCET hall ticket on the official website.

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has revised PGCET MBA/MCA exam dates. Karnataka PGCET MBA exam, which was earlier scheduled to be held on May 24, will now be conducted on June 14. KEA notified the change in Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam date on its official X handle. With the change in Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam date for MBA/MCA, no change has been recorded for the MTech exam date. KEA clarified in the post that the Karnataka PGCET MTech exam will be conducted as per the schedule, on May 23. along with the MTech exam, KEA will be conducted Karnataka DCET 2026 on May 23. KEA PGCET hall tickets for MTech exam will be out soon on the official exam website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pgcet2026.

Reason for Change in Karnataka PGCET 2026 Exam Date

Change in Karnataka PGCET MBA exam date is due to exam clash with the UPSC CSE prelims to be held on the same day. Several candidates reached out to KEA to seek a postponement as they have applied for both the exams. The Karnataka PGCET exam date change will help candidates with additional time for preparation.Β Before the clarification on the exam date, KEA had been hinting the change of the PGCET exam date for MBA/MCA when candidates were asking for an official announcement regarding the same.

The exam dates for MBA and MCA exam remains the same. Whereas, the PGCET exam date for ME/MTech courses is different. Karnataka PGCET 2025 exam is generally conducted in the month of June for MBA and MCA courses.

Karnataka PGCET exam is conducted once every year. The exam score is valid for one exam session only. Karnataka PGCET acts as the gateway exam for admission into PG courses, including MBA, MCA, M.E., M.Tech. and M.Arch in the state of Karnataka. 

KEA will issue Karnataka PGCET admit card for MTech exam anytime soon.The hall ticket for Karnataka PGCET MBA exam will be issued on a later date. KEA release Karnataka PGCET admit card 7-10 days before the exam date.
