The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) issued an official notification regarding the first round provisional seat allotment for Karnataka PGCET 2026 on September 23, 2026. Although the authority has issued the notification stating that the provisional results are published, the official allotment link has not yet been activated or updated on the portal. Candidates cannot view their individual allotment status until the portal link is operational.

KEA Releases PGCET 2026 Round 1 Provisional Allotment Press Note

The press note on KEA website, dated September 23, 2026, confirms the publication of the first round provisional allotment results. It explicitly instructs candidates not to report to any provisionally allotted college at this stage. The provisional list serves only to indicate initial seat allocations and allow candidates to review the outcomes before final seat confirmations are processed.

The authority has clarified that objections concerning seats not allotted due to non-entry of options will not be entertained. Furthermore, candidates will not be permitted to change their options at this stage. KEA will verify all submitted objections before publishing the final first round seat allotment results. In addition, academic eligibility criteria set by respective PG rules, universities, or competent authorities apply, with SC, ST, and OBC eligibility benefits limited to Karnataka candidates.
