KEA PGCET 2026 Counselling Dates Revised; Fee Payment, Seat Confirmation Ends on Oct 12

KEA has extended the last date to pay the admission fee by the allotted candidates once again. The new date for payment of fee, downloading confirmation slip, and reporting to allotted college is set as October 12.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has once again extended the deadline for fee payment and downloading the admission order for Karnataka PGCET 2026 seat allotment. As per the latest official notification released by the authority, candidates allotted seats now have time until October 12, 2026, to complete the admission formalities. This announcement marks another extension granted by KEA to the earlier schedule. The authority decided to revise the dates to provide candidates additional time to secure their allotted seats across MBA, MCA, M.Tech, and other postgraduate programmes.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in the Karnataka PGCET round 1 counselling must log in to the official portal to pay the prescribed admission fee. KEA has clarified that candidates must complete this payment strictly within the revised timeframe to keep their allotted seats valid.

Karnataka PGCET 2026 Seat Confirmation Slip Download

After completing the required fee payment successfully, candidates must download their Seat Confirmation Slip (admission order) from the KEA candidate portal. The deadline to download this slip has also been aligned with the revised last date of October 12, 2026.

A point to note about the fee payment process is that candidates can only generate the fee payment through challan or designated branches subject to banking hours. Since banks will remain closed on Saturday and Sunday, candidates must not wait until the last moment to complete the fee payment.

Following the fee payment and slip download, candidates are required to report to their respective allotted colleges along with all original documents for verification. Candidates must complete college reporting on the same day, October 12, 2026, within working hours, failing which the allotted seat will be treated as forfeited.

No Update on Karnataka PGCET 2026 Choice Entry

The latest notification issued by KEA contains no update, mention, or revision regarding the choice entry process. The authority has not announced any reopening or modification of candidate options in this circular. Meanwhile, several candidates have been protesting outside KEA office, demanding the second round of counselling.
