The last date to apply for MAH-CET 2017 for MBA/MMS is near. Canddiates planning to appear in Maharashtra management exam must finish their applciation process by February 13, 2017, the last day of registration process.
The common entrance test conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra is conducted for admissions to all the B-schools across Maharashtra.
MAH-CET is one to the top management entrance exams in India. Thousands of students take the test every year for admission to the best MBA colleges in the state.
Interested candidates can start preparing for the test from now on as it is scheduled to be held on March 4 and 5, 2017. Check the entire schedule below.

Application forms will be available on the DTE, Maharashtra website. The candidates can fill the form and make the payment of application fee online (Rs 1000 for General category students and Rs 800 for Reserved category students) to confirm their participation in the exam. Online fee payment is open till February 13, 2017.
For offline process, the candidate is required to purchase the prospectus and form from the closest DTE office.
Eligibility:
- The candidate must have completed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks
- Aspirants from Maharashtra who belong to SC/ST/OBC categories require 45% marks in Graduation to be eligible for MAH-CET
- Persons with disability having 45% marks in Graduation from a recognized university are also eligible to apply
The examination is a part of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the state government.
The MAH CET question paper consists of multiple choice objective type questions from the following sections:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
- Quantitative Aptitude and Logical / Abstract Reasoning.
The duration of the computer-based exam is 150 minutes (2 and a half hours) during which the candidate has to solve 200. Thereβs no negative marks for incorrect answers.
Post the declaration of results of MAH-CET 2017, the DTE is announce dates for registrations for admissions to the colleges. The candidates will be required to apply in time to be able to secure a seat in the desired college.
