MAT September 2026 exam registration: The MAT September exam is the third cycle out of the four MAT exam cycles conducted every year.
MAT 2026 September application is underway on the official website, mat.aima.in. The MAT exam will be conducted in two sessions; PBT and CBT mode. Candidates who want to secure admission into an MBA should fill out the MAT registration form from the official AIMA website portal at mat.aima.in. Any graduate or final-year graduation students can register for the MAT examination. The MAT application fee is INR 2300 for PBT/CBT mode. However, if the candidate chooses both modes, then they need to pay only INR 4000. MAT scores are accepted by the top 800+ business schools across India. Candidates are advised to apply for both test modes and give their best score out of the two for admission. This increases the chance of securing admission.

How to fill out the MAT September application 2026
Steps for filling out the MAT September application form 2026 are provided below:

Visit the official website of the MAT exam; mat.aima.in.

To create your MAT account, enter your details like name, DOB, phone no., email, and set a password for your account.

Confirm and submit.

You will receive an OTP on your number; enter it for verification.

After this, on your email ID, login details will be shared.

Now login into your MAT account with these credentials.

Select test centres and MAT test mode.

Upload your photograph and signature.

Then, select the management institutes you want to send your scorecard to.

Pay the MAT application fee.

Enter your personal and educational details.

Download the MAT registration form.
Only candidates who register for the MAT September exam will be able to download the admit card and appear for the exam. Aspirants are advised to fill out their registration forms as soon as possible. Also, during the form-filling process, candidates will be able to select up to 7 institutes to share their MAT 2026 exam scorecard free of charge. After this, an additional fee of INR 118 will be charged for each chosen institute.
