MAT May 2026 will be conducted in PBT mode tomorrow. Candidates need to follow certain guidelines at the examination centre like carrying relevant documents and reaching centre on time. Read below important guidelines and last minute preparation tips.
MAT PBT mode is schedule tomorrow at various test centres across India. Candidate must have already downloaded their MAT admit card. MAT 2026 exam will be conducted in CCTV surveillance and thus it is very important to follow the guidelines issued by the AIMA for candidates. It is important to know the guidelines and follow them to also be stress free. It will help in optimal performance.
MAT is an easy exam but solving 150 questions in only 120 minutes can be taxing. So, you need to have a proper exam strategy too. We have shared below, important MAT exam guidelines and last minute tips for candidates.
MAT Exam Day Guidelines
- Carry two copies of the MAT PBT admit card. Digital copy will not be accepted
- Carry a valid photo ID such as PAN card, Voter ID card, Aadhaar card, Passport, Driving License
- Reach the examination centre as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card
- Carry 2 blue/black ball point pens to fill the OMR sheet
- Do not carry phone, earphone, watch, Ipad, Bluetooth device or any other electronic item
- Do not carry bags and valuables. You will not be allowed to enter the exam venue with a bag
- Do not wear metal accessories. You will have to take them off before entering the test center
- Do not disturb any other candidate or create ruckus at the test centre
- Cooperate with the test centre staff and officials
- Leave the test lab only when asked to and the exit process starts
Last Minute Tips for MAT
- Go through important topics and formulae early in the morning
- Do not study any new topic. Attempt questions from your strength areas only
- Read the short notes you made during preparation on your way to exam centre
- Define the time limit for each section according to your strength and weakness
- Do not given GK section more than 10 minutes and attempt it at the last
- There is negative marking MAT, so steer clear from guess work
- Attempt to cover at least 2/3rd of total questions in all main four sections of MAT.
