PGCET 2014 final rank list will be announced on July 10, 2014. The first round of counselling for MBA courses will start from July 12 and continue till July 22, 2014.
The first round of counselling will be held for Physical Handicapped candidates on July 12. The counselling for other candidates will commence from July 15 at Bangalore and Belgaum.
Candidates who appeared for the exam in Belgaum, Bijapur, Bellary, Dharwad, Davangere and Gulbarga centres will have arrive at S.G. Balekundri Institute of Technology, Belgaum, for counselling. Those who appeared for the exam in Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore, Shimoga and Tumkur centres will have to arrive at KEA, Sampige Road, for counselling.
The exam was held on June 30, 2014. A merit list based on PGCET scores has been prepared for counselling. Eligible candidates can select seats at the time of counselling for admissions into various colleges under PGCET.
It is mandatory for candidates to register themselves for the counselling. Once the registration is done, seat selection and verification of documents will be conducted at the allotted centre. To book a seat, candidates need to pay the fees at the fee counter.
The seat allotment for Karnataka candidates is done as per reservation criteria. Seats reserved in every institute are as per government quota. The General category seats under Management quota are meant for both Karnataka and Non-Karnataka candidates.
The counselling procedure of PGCET 2014 for admissions to MBA takes place in two rounds. Round One Counselling is meant for all candidates shortlisted in the merit list or rank-wise regardless of their category and native state. The seats remaining vacant in the first round of counselling are merged with general category of government seats in the Casual Counselling and are allotted to eligible students.
Candidates must carry the require documents at the time of the counseling. The list below are the must documents to carry:
- PGCET MBA 2014 Admit Card
- SSLC Marks Card
- PUC Marks Card
- All Degree Marks Card
- Valid Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Seven year study certificate by Head Master/Principal
- Domicile Certificate
The fees is to be paid in form of Demand Draft (DD). The first year fee is as mentioned below:
