TANCET 2026 registration window will close today at 4:30 PM. Candidates aspiring for MBA/MCA admissions in Tamil Nadu must apply now at tancet.annauniv.edu.
Anna University will close TANCET 2026 registration today, April 15, at 4:30 PM. The original deadline for TANCET registration was extended from April 10. Candidates must submit their TANCET 2026 application form online on the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu. UR category candidates have to pay INR 1000 as the TANCET application fee. Whereas, candidates belonging to SC, SCA, and ST categories have to pay INR 500 as the TANCET registration fee. To be eligible, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks, or 45 per cent for reserved category candidates.
TANCET 2026 Documents Required for Registration
All applicants have to upload a passport-size photograph and a signature in JPG format. The photograph must be 300px by 200px and have a file size between 35KB and 50KB. The signature must be 70px by 200px with a file size between 10KB and 15KB. To claim the concession in the TANCET application fee, candidates must upload their community certificate in PDF format.
Candidates also need their SSLC, HSC, and qualifying degree certificates to enter registration numbers, passing years, and marks.

About TANCET 2026
The TANCET 2026 exams for MBA and MCA programs are scheduled for May 9. The MCA exam will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, and the MBA exam will be held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Each exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions to be completed in two hours. The MBA paper includes five sections with 20 questions each, while the MCA paper features four sections with 25 questions each. Candidates receive 1 mark for each correct answer, and 1/4 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.
Admit cards are expected to be released in the last week of April. Candidates who do not complete the registration and fee payment by today's deadline will not be issued a hall ticket.
