The dates for Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2017 have been announced. The national-level management aptitude test is conducted by Xavier School of Management, Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) - Jamshedpur in a pen and paper mode.
XAT 2017 is scheduled to be conducted on January 8, 2017, between 10 am and 1:30 pm, at several exam centres across India.
Registration for the same started on August 17, 2016 and ended November 30, 2016. The candidates who failed to get themselves registered by or before November 30 can apply with late fee till December 11, 2016.
The application fee structure for XAT 2017 is given below:
- Rs 1600 for application form and Rs 300 for every XLRI course
- Rs 2000 for application form and Rs 500 for every XLRI course

To apply for XAT 2017, the candidates will be required to register with the official website. Here are some key points to keep in mind while applying.
- Visit xatonline.net.in click on Register. Create a new account with your valid personal email ID after which you will receive a unique XAT ID and registration link
- Click on the link and create your own password. XAT ID and password created, will serve as the means to access everything related to XAT 2017
- Please quote your email ID, provided during the registration, and XAT ID for all future communication
- If you do not receive the registration confirmation mail within 24 hours of signing up, please check your spam/junk folder
- If you haven't received the mail at all, please write to admissions@xatonline.net.in mentioning your primary email id. or call on 1800 300 20677 between 09.00 a.m. and 08.00 p.m. ( IST ).
XAT exam has high level of difficulty, and apart from XLRI, the scores of the exam are accepted by more than 100 B-schools offering MBA, PGDM and other management courses. XLRI offers three two-year management programs. The same are as follows:
- Human Resource Management (HRM)
- Business Management Program (BM)
- Global MBA Program
Last year a few changes were observed in the test pattern of the exam. This year, no official notification has been released till now regarding the change of test pattern.
