SOP submission is a mandatory step to be considered for the XLRI selection process. XLRI is set to open the GDPI slot booking process soon after the SOP form submission ends.

Candidates are required to choose their interview slots for BM and HRM courses. XLRI GM slot booking has already started. XLRI conducts an online interview process for the PGDM GM course. To participate in the BM and HRM process, candidates will have to appear as per the slots they choose.

The SOP submission requires candidates to answer three specific questions based on their chosen program. These questions focus on personality traits, life instances, and personal weaknesses. For applicants who have selected both the Business Management (BM) and Human Resource Management (HRM) programs, the submission process ensures that the BM interview panel only has access to the BM SOP, while the HRM panel only sees the HRM SOP. One must maintain clarity and consistency between their written answers and their verbal statements during the interview, as the panel will have the SOP document in front of them during the session.

On the assessment day, XLRI will conduct WAT, GD and a PI round. Both WAT and GD rounds have a common topic. First, candidates need to write about the topic within 15 to 20 minutes. Group Discussion generally involves eight candidates and three panellists.
